There has also been a CD-ROM release as part of a compilation of older Capcom games. As it was the case with the previous title, the game was available on floppy disks in the 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" format. The graphics were slightly better than the first, but the game was still far from being up par with the NES games. Just like Mega Man (1), this title doesn't have any link with the NES version. Other: IBM, Tandy & 100% compatibles (Tandy 16 Color, Mono, CGA, EGA)Īpparently, Mega Man 2 was skipped for some strange reason.Armed with every android-annihilator ever invented, they're determined to reduce the super-powered cyborg into a heap of radioactive waste! Can our hero outfight, outwit and "out-robot" the robots? Will Mega man pulverize powerful robot-maniacs? Or will he meltdown? It's all up to you, as you join the battle in Mega Man 3. It's MEGA MAN 3! Legions of once peaceful robots have been mysteriously transformed into a horde of humanity-hating berserk droids! Nobody is safe - least of all Mega Man. Your only luck for finding it comes from eBay, where it shows up from time to time. The game is long out of print, obviously. The game came on floppy disks, in both 5 1/4" (remember those?) and 3 1/2" format.

This was the first third-party Mega Man game ever, made by Hi Tech Expressions.

The first Mega Man game on the computer isn't a port of the NES title: it's a brand new game, although not an extra good one: the graphics, music and controls are pretty bad. "downloadable" is used to indicate that the game can be obtained as a paying download.

In the list below, "in stores" means that the game is or was available in stores, both retail and online. As a general hint, if you don't mind bidding on auctions, you could do some nice finds on eBay. You'll also find some information on how to buy them, although some titles have gotten difficult to find over the years. This is a listing of all games currently available, along with many details for each title. Several Mega Man titles were released for the personal computer (PC) over the years.
